Cox’s Bazar is coined as the tourist capital of Bangladesh.  This unique spot has attracted the international attention for having the world’s longest (120 km.) natural sea beach with silvery sands & blue surfing waves against the picturesque background of a chain of forested hills. Found it in 1798 by a British Captain Herow Cox was once occupied by Arakani Buddhist immigrant from Myanmar. Today Cox’s Bazar has a mixed population. There are more than just sun and sands, you will visit Ramu (the ancient Rakhain Capital) and the Moheskhali, Sonadia Island & the very paradise island of Saint Martin. This is the only coral island of Bangladesh located 29 km. from Teknaf & 115 km. from Cox’s Bazar bordering Myanmer. This coral paradise island is featured with 8 square km. area which is completely isolated and surrounded by huge black stone & clustered corals. Different type of marine turtles, giant crabs and colorful fishes with rich bio diversification turned this island as a capital of marine life & eco-tourist.

Coxs Bazar has nominated to contest the 7th nature wonder of the world.

 

Itinerary-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Day 01: Arrival

Arrive Dhaka, meet and greet & transfer to hotel. 

Day 02: Dhaka

Morning visit City tour including visit to Sadarghat river port, Ahsan Manzil, Hindu Street, Freedom War Museum,  Star Mosque, Armenian Church, Lalbagh Mughal Fort and Parliament Building (if visit inside, require special permission). Evening free time & overnight at hotel.

*Due to Traffic congestion in Dhaka all the places of interest may not be covered. 

Day 02: Dhaka – Moinamati – Comilla - Chittagong

After breakfast drive to Moinamati, Comilla (98 km) by A/C coach. Visit the most impressive archaeological sites Shalban Vihara at Moinamati Laimai hill range. There are more than 50 archaeological spots like Shalban Vihara, Kutila Mura, Ananda Vihara, Charaputra Mura, Itakhola Mura and Rupban Mura which are very importanat for studies and Buddhism. The arcaheological museum near the Shalban Vihara (Sunday closed) is also very attractive with rich collection. Arrive Chittagong. Sightseeing includes Foys Lake, Ethnical museum and Patenga sea beach (if time permits). Overnight at hotel. 


Day 04: Chittagong - Cox’s Bazar

After breakfast drive to Cox!s Bazar by (A/C Microbus) the most fascinating and the longest sea beach (120 km. 2hrs.) of the world. Visit the Historical Maheskhali Islandby crossing bay channel through speed boat. The island is dotted with forested hills & some mangrove forest. The ancient Adinath Templeat the hilltop & the Rakhain Village with their colorful Buddhist Temple have got a real attraction. Return Cox’sBazar. Evening free to enjoy the beach at your own & overnight.

Day 05: Cox’s Bazar – St. Martin

Early morning drive to ‘Teknaf’ an wonderful  Eco Tourist Spot at the bank of Panoramic Naf River bordering Myanmar. Breakfast at the Parjatan restaurant & board the costal tourist vessel to rich the wonderful coral island St.Martin (An isolated island 9sq. km.) crossing the blue water of Bay of Bengal. Transfer to the hotel located near the virgin beach with wonderful surroundings. After lunch free to explore the southern tips of the island which is very rich for it’s marine life & forested with mangrove plants.  To enjoy the moonlit night on the virgin beach is a life time experience. Have a BBQ dinner with sea fish (lobster). Overnight at hotel. 

Day 06: St. Martin

After early breakfast avail the trawler boat to explore the adjacent ‘Chera Deep’ the wonderful coral island & the mysteries aquatic world. This is the ideal place for Scuba diving. After lunch board the ship for return journey to Cox’sBazar via Teknaf. Overnight at hotel at Cox’sBazar. 

Day 07: Cox’s Bazar –Chittagong - Dhaka

After breakfast drive to Chittagong. En route you can visit the wonderful Ramu the ancient capital of Rakhain people and visit the Buddhist pagodas. After arrival at Chittagong fly to Dhaka and transfer to hotel & overnight. 

Day 08: Transfer

Morning transfer to the airport for onward destination.
